DirSync is a powerful tool designed to synchronize or backup directories smartly and quickly. Using DirSync you can define multiple jobs and execute them at scheduled time. Each job can specify multiple directories to be synchronized. The synchronization is base on the policy the user defined to copy only files which are different between source and destination directories. Features of DirSync: (1) User can schedule the job to run one time, hourly, daily, days of week, weekly, monthly or at intervals etc. (2) User can simulate executing of the job to see what file will be copied or deleted. (Not actually copied or deleted.) (3) Use multi-threading technology to execute job and let user to pause, resume and stop job while running. (4) During the execution, the dynamic running info was shown in the info pane. (5) The error and other running info can be written into the log file for user to view later. (6) Reverse the job to easily restore the backup files. (7) Specify include/exclude files to limit the files to be synchronized. (8) Specify exclude folders to limit the sub-folders to be synchronized. (9) Use command line parameters to start program and execute job quietly, or exit automatically when job finished. (10) Use export/import function to transfer the job definitions from one computer to another.
